Once you have a piece made, send us a note titled "contest entry" with the link to your deviation in it.
Keep it modest, this is a contest for all ages

PAST CONTESTS

Cross-over Contest

All you Toph fans know and love Toph, that's for sure. But I'm more than sure that you all have other characters you're fond of from other shows you watch. What you can spend you holidays doing is drawing a picture of Toph crossed over to another universe. And it's not limited to just cartoons. Sure it's easy to cross over a cartoon with a cartoon but if you watch any live action shows that you love just as much as Toph, try putting her in that universe. For example [link]

Some Rules:
Of course it should be hand drawn, don't just draw a picture of Toph and photoshop it onto a screen shot of another show. Crossover fan fiction will also be accepted. She can be by herself or with other from the avatar universe or hte crossover universe. If she's by herself she must have clothes or be in an environment that would indicates she's in another universe. Be creative of course but if you feel stuck just serch "avatar crossover" and you might find some inspiration. Be original though!

Other Stuff:
The contest starts as of now. Make sure when you send me a note to lable it "Contest" or something along those lines so I don't get it confused with any other backlogged deviations. I'll post the deviations in seperate section in the journal. I like to give people a chance to draw so the contest ends January 23rd. I haven't decided on a prize yet but you can do it just for the fun of it and the love of Toph as well.

Melon Lord Contest

Toph is our beloved Melon Lord and I want to see the best picture depicting this. Use your imagination and best skill to portray this.

The prize:

We want people visiting the page who are not memebrs and remind all our current members of how awesome Toph is, so the winner will be the new featured deviation.

The judge:

Me. It just makes things easier this time. I'm in my senior year at university and I have a job and I'm hoping to do some things with church and I want to start planning my wedding etc. So instead of having to keep trak of other judges or voting I'll just make the decision. If you have any problems, take it up with the Melon Lord.

The details:

I'm a little behind on the gallery so if you sent some Melon Lord art in and you don't feel like making another one that one can be entered.

Send a note titled "contest" or "contest entry" so I know it's for the contest and not just for the gallery.

The contest starts today and you can enter all the way until September 30th. A whole month and a little extra to make the greatest piece af Melon Lord art ever.

I'll make a box in the journal to feature the entries until the end of the contest and then put the pieces in the gallery.

OLDER/YOUNGER TOPH

Description:
Younger: We all know her as the young earthbender with an attitude but we also know she had a life before she began training Aang. Just how long has she been the "Blind Bandit"? What was her life like as a child? Depicting Toph at a younger age is open to all interpretation and can be represented by whatever medium you like best. She can be interacting with others or by herself. She can be wearing clothing we're familar with or she can have a totally new outfit. She can do doing anything anywhere with anyone (within the requested modesty of the rules)
Older: Sure she's a young hot-blooded earthbender now, but where will she been in 3, 5, 10, or even 20 years?! Older Toph is open to any interpretation and can be represented in any medium you prefer. Is she still single? Did she end up with Aang or Sokka.... or Zuko?! Or maybe someone completely different. What will her outfit look like? Will she still have that Bei Fong bun?

Modern Toph Contest
